Statement The show is a slow buildup of small things; it is the expansion of the universe. From "Two Surfaces Sliding," a wooden mosaic of organic triangles forming a spiral, to "Hidden Crevice," a brief succession of holes cut inside layers of paper, there is a kinetic inhabitance that I am trying to poke at in all the pieces. I like the idea of a massless ether pushing and pulling us. I like discovering small places. They aren't places of sanctity or holiness, but they are special and noteworthy maybe to only a few individuals. cin shepherd |
